BAPTIST MOVEMENT OF NEPAL

The Baptist Convention of Nepal ministries is an evangelical movement of churches, provinces Baptist associations of unions and national convention ministries committed to proclaiming and demonstrating the good news of Jesus Christ as revealed in the bible and fulfilling the great commission which the lord Jesus Christ has given to his disciples and church. (Matthew 28:18-20 verses.)

At Nepal Baptist convention of Nepal ministries, we do have a statement of belief and each province’s association affirms The Baptist faith & message 2000. the Baptist convention of Nepal. Please refer to the relevant statement of belief below.

This section will give you a brief overview of the Christian faith and some of the key aspects of the beliefs of those churches and ministries associated with the Baptist convention of Nepal ministries. Please note that not all Baptist churches hold to every aspect of the faith as articulated in these pages.

Baptist church movement is comprised of independent local Baptist churches, and each church is self-governing. The members of the local church have a joint financial and practical responsibility for the operation can be maintained. Baptist church churches have mainly a collective leadership and consist of board of trustees and pastors and a body of elders and decan. These act as the church’s board of directors and are elected democratically in the congregation meeting the recommendation of the church leadership. The parish meeting is the church’s highest body. Here also elected leaders of other parts of the church’s activity, giving leaders the confidence and anchoring they deserve to exercise a bold leadership. All major regional matters are usually presented to the members of the congregation meeting in the light of a setting and recommendation given by elders of church leadership.

All these local churches meet for central and regional meetings where church leaders gather and where they can also give counsel and advice and recommendations to individual congregations. Among other things this applies to discussion held in leadership conference directed and associated with “annual meeting conference”. “Discussion” is the most representative gathering of ministers and leaders in the Baptist church movement in Nepal. Here discussed a number of issues of common character.

During the preachers and pastors conference in 2010 national assembly board for the Baptist church churches and mission movement in Nepal” was created as a trial. This board will represent the course of motion outward and has been mandated to forward the cases that are pending in discussion or conversation. National convention board has since changed its name to “convention leadership council” in the Baptist churches of Nepal, we mean in this context a community of people organized as a congregation and is affiliated with the Baptist church missions’ movement of Nepal.

The Baptist churches movement of federal republic of Nepal, we believe the community of independent New Testament style Baptist churches and congregations affiliated with the Baptist church movement of Nepal.

Chairman council of the Baptist church movement in Nepal has been created to lead and represent the Baptist church movement in Nepal at the national and international level.

Baptist churches stand for model or classical and evangelical Christianity with profession of personal faith in Jesus Christ follow him, and dedication to make him known, believed, loved and followed. Baptist churches’ emphasizes the individual’s opportunity for a personal relationship with God experienced through the Holy Spirit. Baptist churches are one of the largest independent churches, organized as network and bound together in partnership agreement by an understanding in key Biblical based doctrinal issues.
